In the mid-90s, I got a bee in my bonnet and shot a few rolls of Black and White film while visiting Yosemite. I am certainly never going to be another Ansel Adams! But I figure that the Yosemite stores sell black and white film for a reason...so I'd figured I'd give it a shot. (Ooh, that's is a putrid pun!)

It has been years since my college days, where I actually did do a bit of B&W photography. I even had a makeshift darkroom in my home. But those days are long-gone, and I am too cheap and too lazy to set up another darkroom in my bathroom. So, I have done my best with these pictures, using Photoshop. I am especially pleased with the pictures taken at Mirror Lake, which certainly lives up to its name. Also, the Yosemite Falls, El Capitan and Bridalveil Falls photos were taken on a rainy, cloudy day in March. Let me tell you, Yosemite can be quite stunning on an overcast day in March!
